Mouser Expands Distribution Deal to Stock Linear Technology Products
Jan. 10, 2018

Mouser, the online electronics distributor, has expanded its distribution deal with Analog Devices to encompass the full line of products from Linear Technology. Analog Devices closed its $14.8 billion acquisition of Linear Technology in March to lock down the market for analog chips that handle physical signals flowing into the digital veins of electronics devices.

Analog Devices recently rebranded its analog rival as the Power by Linear division, which sells power management, signal conditioning, data conversion and wireless sensor networking products. The business unit – led by Steve Pietkiewicz, a former Linear Technology executive – targets automotive, communications, industrial and healthcare applications.

“We are very excited about what this expanded global partnership brings to our half a million-plus customers,” said Jeff Newell, Mouser’s vice president of products, in a statement. “Design engineers around the world can now take advantage of this large, comprehensive portfolio of high-performance signal chain, RF, and power management products.”
