Sager Electronics, a North American distributor of interconnect, power and electromechanical components, is now stocking ZF Electronics’ new-generation linear and angular position sensors.

Non-contact linear position sensors with one or two independent outputs, the LIN- and ANG-series sensors utilize Hall Effect technology (defined as a transducer that varies its output voltage in response to a magnetic field), with magnetic fields generated by permanent magnets, according to Sager.

Both sensors are RoHS compliant and suitable for wide air gap applications. The company says IP68 classification makes these sensors universal for use in rough environmental conditions, and that the ANG- and LIN-series sensors require less space than other products with a similar performance.
