Omron Electronic Components Europe B.V. has awarded Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH as its “Distributor Excellence 2014” award. The reward recognizes Rutronik for its outstanding performance, first-class pre- and post-sale support, and services as a distributor of Ormon electronic components.
According to Leon Mordang, chief operating officer of Omron Electronic Components Europe, Rutronik accounts for 20% of Omron distributive sales and is one of the top three sales and distribution partners for Omron switches, microswitches , relays, and plug connectors. The partnership began in 1998, with electromechanical distribution in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe. Distribution has expanded to all of Europe since 2010.
