The semiconductor industry is set for a new partnership, as America Semiconductor, LLC has appointed Quest Components, Inc. as a franchised distributor for its full product line. The agreement enhances America Semiconductor’s presence in the electronics market worldwide.
America Semiconductor selected Quest Components as its new distribution partner based on its reputation for providing supply chain solutions that increase sales and reduce costs, the manufacturer said. Quest Components also serves America Semiconductor’s target industries, including alternative energy, oil drilling, power grid, welding, HVAC, and transportation.
“Quest’s customer-oriented sales focus, and comprehensive understanding of our semiconductor products and target industries, makes them the ideal distribution partner,” said America Semiconductor CEO Jeffrey Simon.
America Semiconductor is headquartered in Union, NJ, and Quest Components, which specializes in passive and active board-level components, is based in Industry City, CA.
