Epec Engineered Technologies now offers an online portal for easy customer access to its build-to-print products and services. By registering an account, customers can use the site to access invoices, transaction history, outstanding- and available-balance summaries, deposits, credit memos, and other records.
A beta version, which was launched in March, applied feedback and data from a sample of select customers. Now, after system tweaking and web optimization, the site has acquired more than 300 members.
IT resources and back-end help are newly available through the site, as well as 24/7 self-service access. The site contains an order-history feature and facilitates transactions, relieving some duties of the customer service department and accounting departments so that they can dedicate time toward company development and the improvement of customer service.
